Seminar on “Global Market Perspective and Export Outlook in 2018”

The HKECIC successfully organised a seminar on “Global Market Perspective and Export Outlook in 2018” on 4 January 2018. Despite the gradual recovery of the global economy and the steady exports from Hong Kong to Asian markets in 2017, growth of advanced economies including Eurozone and the United Kingdom is still at low level, said Ralph Lai, Commissioner of the HKECIC. Meanwhile, the progress on the Brexit negotiations and potential protectionism increase has led to uncertainty in globalisation and free trade. Hong Kong exporters should remain cautious.
